Dojo Etiquette:
- Your instructor will always be referred to as "Shihan/Sensei/Senpai" while in the
dojo, show respect to your Shihan/Sensei/Senpai
- Bow when entering or leaving the dojo floor, remove all jewellery before training, and
remove shoes before entering the dojo floor
- Sparring equipment is required for Yellow/Yellow Black Stripes and above, must keep in good
condition and brought to every class
- Keep uniform clean and in good condition, wash your "Gi" and not your belt
"Obi", respectfully turn your back when fixing your belt or adjusting your Gi during class
- Personal hygiene and cleanliness is very important, Finger/Toe nails must be short
- If student has long hair, student should tie hair back
- Be prompt, it's best to show up 10 minutes prior to class start, if late, kneel at the
side of the class awaiting permission to join
- Show respect to your senior belts as they will show respect to you
- Students help each other train and learn, competition in class will only make you go
backwards. Train hard, but be safe, safety is our number one priority
