Sensei Vanessa Stewart
Instructor

Sensei Vanessa Stewart began training at Danforth Karate Academy in 2008, in the interest of trying a new activity that benefits both physical and mental health. In 2016 she received her First Degree Black Belt from Shihan Gord Davis. She received her Second Degree Black Belt from Shihan Peter Jaukovic
in 2022. Sensei Vanessa went on to achieve
her sensei title in 2023 present by Shihan Jaukovic and the World Kobudo Federation.
She also enjoys attending World Kobudo Federation events to learn about different martial art styles.

Student Creed

I intend to develop myself in a
positive manner and to avoid
anything that could reduce my
mental growth or my
physical health.
 

 I intend to develop selfdiscipline
in order  to bring out the best
in my self and others.

 

 I intend to use what I learn in class constructively
 and  defensively to help my self and my fellow
human  beings and never to be abusive or offensive
